I am very surprised and somewhat esctatic that I had passed my N(A) mathematics for my N-level examinations by clinching a grade 4.

After getting a U-grade for my maths during my mid-year examinations, my parents decided to put me in a Maths tuition to help me even though they knew that it was somewhat too late. After not being able to enrol into 3 tuition centres we seeked help from, my mum decided to take a shot at Radiance Tuition Centre. I managed to enroll into their Maths classes in July. The staff there were very sympathetic towards me. Though i was lagging behind and could not fully understand the lessons at first, Mrs Tan guided me patiently and even stayed back to give me some tips to improve myself. She really made sure I could better myself in Maths as the N-level examinations was approaching in October. Even when i got demoralised by failing my preliminary Math papers, Mrs Tan made sure I did not continue to have low-self esteem and lazy studying habits( where i made no effort to analyse my mistakes in math and didn’t apply some of the things learnt).

Through all the support from RTC, my family and teachers at school, i managed to pull myself together and buck up for my exams.I managed to be promoted to secondary 5 and I am proud about that.

I would like to thank the staff in RTC and most importantly, Mrs Tan who, although can be strict at times, is very understanding and patient. Without them I couldn’t have passed my Maths for my N-levels.

Having been a student here for a long period of time since primary school, i should say that Mr Foo, has exceptionally and unexpectedly make the class and studying somehow fun and also kept my grades constantly improving.

Sec4 O level A&E Maths

At the beginning, I was never really strong in any of my mathematics subjects. I have never gotten better grades than D7 or E8. In fact, I was beginning to feel indifferent towards my scores and was pretty much ready to give up.

Mr. Foo, however, is a great teacher. He has patience and most of all makes me feel interested in working hard again for myself. I am now slightly confident in my E-maths and now I am working for my A-maths grade. If this doesn’t prove that he is an awesome teacher than I don’t know who is. Mr. Foo is a great guide and I am thankful to have a tuition teacher like him.
